Prof. Paul Klenerman works at the Peter Medawar Building for Pathogen Research in Oxford. His group is interested in T cell responses in persistent infection, especially in the liver. The group is working on CD161+ T cell populations, including MAIT cells and related cell types; especially in the role of co-stimulation by cytokines in the regulation of the function of these cells.
