Albert Bendelac received his MD PhD from University of Paris VI and Paris VII. He is the A.N. Pritzker Professor at the University of Chicago and his primary interests reside in the biology of innate and innate-like lymphocytes. His laboratory has contributed to the characterization of several innate lineages, particularly NKT cells and ILCs, defining fundamental aspects of development, specificity and function, and creating widely used mouse models for studies in vivo.
